FREIA M. TITLAND
Executive Judge for all categories

Freia M. Titland (SAG-AFTRA, AEA) is a NYC based actress, writer, director, and producer. (Known for Orange is the new Black, The Perfect Murder, and others.) She is also a professor of film and the performing arts. Titland founded Midnight Films with the goal of producing her own work.  Titland used film and other artistic mediums as a way to give voice to her creative ideas. As a lover of all things Shakespeare, Ms. Titland’s first set of projects under Midnight Films focused on re-creating the magical and unnatural elements found in Shakespeare’s body of work. This led to a handful of creative projects and a published book: Magic and Shakespeare: a Representation of the Times. Her creative projects were shared by both Shakespeare Magazine UK and Enchanted Living Magazine (formerly known as Faerie Magazine) and were displayed in a gallery as part of the Nasty Women Exhibition in New York City. Titland has also produced a handful of award winning films: Ophelia, A Mermaid's Desire, and Sunflower Fields. Titland is currently in pre-production for an animated film.
